Halle an der Saale is located in the state of Saxony-Anhalt and has a population of about 237,000. This makes Halle the largest city in the state. The city consists of five boroughs and 35 districts. The city is located at the northwestern edge of the Leipzig Basin. The Saale flows through the city of Halle for about 27 kilometres.

There are many sights to see in Halle an der Saale. These include Giebichenstein Castle, the fortress of Moritzburg, historical churches and synagogues, the water tower and various monuments.

With regard to the economy, the city is a member of the European Metropolitan Region of Central Germany and is home to numerous companies focusing on renewable energies, mobility, engineering, sensor technology, biotechnology and media. Companies from the service, food and beverage, logistics, design and IT industries are also located in Saxony-Anhalt's largest city.

Culturally, the city has a lot to offer with various theatres, the opera house as well as the Kulturinsel Halle cultural complex. The self-proclaimed title of "Cultural Capital of Saxony-Anhalt" is reinforced by its national prominence.

There are a large number of schools and educational institutions in the vicinity of Liebenauer Straße, which applies to the city area as a whole. In addition to a daycare centre and a primary school, there are also secondary schools such as a grammar school and a special school in the district.



Liebenauer Straße 169 is located in the southern inner city area of Halle. The connection to the bus station in Wolfstraße is very easy to reach on foot with a distance of about 150 metres. The nearest tram stop at Rannischer Platz is also less than five minutes away on foot. Various snack and bistro options can also be found here.

There is a teilAuto carsharing parking space just outside the door, 50 metres away. The nearest schools (Dölau primary school and Johannesschule) are 250 and 300 metres away and can be reached very quickly and easily by bicycle or on foot. The grammar school is 600 metres away.

market are all located within a distance of no more than one kilometre. Other businesses and outlets catering for everyday needs such as pharmacies, drugstores or doctors are located within a maximum radius of 1.5 kilometres.

Like the old town, the Saale River is about 1.3 kilometres away and can be easily reached on foot.
