Macro situation

The city of Mühlheim am Main is located in the federal state of Hesse and has approximately 28,000 inhabitants. The city, which consists of three districts, is located in the Offenbach district and in the Rhine-Main area. Mühlheim am Main has numerous cultural sights to offer with a city museum, the cultural hall, natural monuments and historic buildings such as the Mühlheim Water Tower. Until 1980, there were many large industrial companies in the city, in particular from the segments of the leather processing industry as well as the metal and electrical industries. Economically, the city today has a large number of medium-sized companies; large industrial companies barely exist in the city anymore. As far as education is concerned, there are several elementary schools, a grammar school, and secondary schools (secondary, secondary and special schools) in the city. Located between Offenbach and Hanau, the city is very well connected by the federal highway 43. With two S-Bahn stations, the inner cities of Offenbach (in about five minutes) and Frankfurt am Main (in about 20 minutes) are very easy to reach. Frankfurt Airport can also be reached within 35 minutes.
